Godpa made breakfast especially for me today! Thou it's only bread with peanut butter and jam, it's more than enough to make me feel loved and blessed.

Took half day off from work, gonna have a haircut and shopping thereafter! It's been awhile since I have time for myself, am looking forward to TGIF!  

Football fever is here again, have a WAKA WAKA weekend everyone! 

It never fails to amaze me how people start planning for marriage after just a short while of courtship.  

To me, the first year of courtship is always sweet with everything almost perfect.

So how do you know that he/she is the one when you are still in the 'honeymoon' period?

Hmm...

Work is getting really difficult, with high expectations from the bosses.

The encouragements has in fact, evolved into additional pressure.

I don't want to be somebody, I just want to lead a simple life.

Life itself is a competition. No matter how unwilling you are, people will still want to compete with you.

I remember that classmates used to compete on results during school days. I am smarter, you are not. Teacher likes me better, she don't like you.

Yada yada yada.

Then comes to working life, who is getting a higher position, higher salary, better incentives.

Believe me, people can compare on very personal things as well. "I have to save at least one grand per month, and I'm oh-so-broke already! By the way, how much do you save huh?'"

Congrats that you can save so much but I'm not interested to know, so don't you bother about mine too.

And now I have people comparing on bling size?! "Oh I want a bling much bigger, better clarity than yours!"

Watever.

Isn't it tiring to compete with others everyday? Contentment is bliss, give yourself a break.
